Suzuki, Japan Capture WBC Title

Japan wins the World Baseball Classic again. Mariners star Ichiro Suzuki singled with 2 outs in the 10th to push "Samurai" Japan past South Korea. Needless to say, this was a huge deal for the Japanese people. I even took a few good-natured jabs after Japan eliminated USA the other day.

Most of the staff at our school spent over 4 hours in the principal's office watching the game this afternoon. That's dedication. To baseball, not work.

Indeed.

The Baseball Classic has been an even bigger deal than Sumo one would think, from the craziness and advertising. Maybe Baseball is the Japanese passtime now?

Anyway I like your blog. Mine is Move to Tokyo check it out if you like

Ichiro is a clutch hitter! I think the World Baseball Classic was bigger over seas than over here in L.A. even when our team was still in it...

That was such a good game. My heart was racing when Darvish was pitching.
